Description of project
The architecture for the project is shaped by the site, dictated by the location of the Katte and the shape and size of the plot itself. The 728.42 sq m of commercial plot is located at Kottara, Mangalore sited right at the NH 66 in a densely-populated mixed use area. The location and retention of Katte became a design driver. The architects proposed and achieved an organic shape with fluid facades and projecting volumes of shape as a result of site shape and rules. The building is comprised of ground + 3 floors, Ground floor being double height, and Basement parking.
