Objectives

- To strengthen public participation and project partnership through community based design and PPP
- To promote innovation through open innovation management system and urban experimentation methods.
Ashtadik Proposal
The current project is one among the proposed 10 “Area Based Developments- ABD under smart city program for Mangaluru. The area based development proposal under the smart city program of Mangaluru highlights need to rejuvenate the central core of the city comprising of the town hall, public open spaces, vacated premises of the district office and creation of a urban forum including regional library, arts centre, etc. other proposals such as underpass walkway for pedestrians, rejuvenation of the existing traffic infrastructure are already proposed under pan city proposals of the smart city.
